Screen Shots for Shortcut Key Explorer
v1.04
|
When you first load Shortcut Key Explorer
you will see the screen below as it is loading all of your Windows shortcut keys.
Once all of your shortcut hotkeys are loaded the main screen will appear (like below).
It lists all of your current Windows shortcut keys and information about them.
From here you can double-click on any of the list items to change the shortcut key or
modify other properties about the shortcut.
If you are not sure what a shortcut key is, the screenshot below shows an example of a
properties of a shortcut. This is a shortcut to Word 2003 and you can see the RED circle
showing you there is a shortcut key of CTRL-ALT-W. Pressing this key combination will load
Word 2003, as if you clicked on the shortcut to open it.
Shortcut keys allow you to quickly launch an application without having to locate
the icon on the start menu or desktop. If you have not used them before, now is a
great time to start!
